DOORS edit object keyboard ] character error?

So I'm working in DOORs 8.3 and there is some really odd behavior I've not come across before. I've confirmed this happens with other folks in my area editing other modules in the same project. Basically I want to the following text into an object text. "ID15467"
When I press the "]" key it doesn't display the character. Instead it brings up the right click mouse menu!

Has anyone else seen this? Is there some setting or a software conflict causing this problem? Like I said, I've used DOORS on other projects and not had this problem.

Thanks in advance,
Felix

Never heard of that, v83 it does not do that for me.

The only thing I can think of is that somehow the ']' key has been associated with that code via the Menu definition. Look through all your pull-down menus looking for ']' on the right. For example, the module Edit menu 'Find Next' function is associated with the F3 key.

This was a bug in 8.3.0.0, it was fixed in patch 1 (8.3.0.1):

27133

If you are editing an object in a module, you can now enter the right-bracket character (]) correctly, instead of the right-click menu being displayed.
